My stay at William Gray By Gray Collection was largely wonderful, and I truly enjoyed the immaculate location in Old Montreal. The room was comfortable, though the noise from the nearby bar on Friday night made it hard to sleep. The service was really good, with friendly staff attending to my needs promptly, and the dining options were quite good, especially the breakfast that extended until 11 am.

My stay at William Gray was a mix of beauty and frustration. The hotel itself is stunning, with a stylish blend of modern and historic decor in the heart of Old Montréal. However, I had several minor issues during my stay that took away from the experience. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and despite the high price point, it felt like the detail wasn't there. I truly appreciated the rooftop bar and the amazing shower in my room, though I was left feeling undervalued as a guest due to the service shortcomings.

My stay at William Gray was nice for the beautiful hotel's location in Old Montreal and its wonderful amenities, but I was let down by a few service aspects. While the room was cozy with a fantastic shower, I encountered issues with housekeeping and staff responsiveness. Overall, I'd recommend this boutique hotel with some caution regarding expectations.

Rooms

The Deluxe King Room I stayed in was stylish and well-equipped, but the balcony was a disappointment due to the noise from air conditioning units nearby. The view, however, made up for it slightly.

I found the service to be hit or miss. Housekeeping was not proactive, as my room wasn’t attended to until late in the day. Additionally, my interactions with the reception staff felt a bit dismissive.

My stay at the William Gray was truly really good, highlighted by the stunning design, attentive staff, and a prime location in Old Montreal. However, I did encounter a few issues with the reception staff's responsiveness, which dampened an otherwise flawless experience. Overall, I would eagerly return for another visit! 😊
